The team are driving from Land’s End to John O’Groats to raise £1 Million for Breast Cancer Care.

They will make the journey in a pink Rolls-Royce which bears the same FAB1 number plate as Lady Penelope’s car in Thunderbirds.

Once the journey is completed, the Rolls-Royce will be available for hire from Breast Cancer Care for the next 12 months.

Chris Evans said, “You can hire the most famous Rolls-Royce in the world as the icing on the cake to whatever special event you are attending or celebrating, knowing that you are donating to a very worthy cause in the process. It’s a win-win situation.”

A car thief that broke into a couple’s house and stole an Audi A6 has been caught and jailed thanks to an iPhone app.

The couple had installed Find My iPhone, on the iPhone which was also stolen during the raid. This allowed the police to track Stephen Lashley’s exact location.

Lashley was subsequently jailed for three years and 10 months.

2015 Honda NSX

Honda has started taking orders on the new NSX Supercar, which was first unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show in 2012.

Although the final price has not been publically confirmed, you can pre-order one now for a deposit of £5,000.

The first-generation NSX was launched in 1990 and 18,000 units have been sold globally in the last 15 years of production.

Phil Crossman, MD of Honda UK, said: “We are really pleased with the interest we’ve already seen for the new NSX. We are still two years away from the launch of the car and yet we’ve received over 20 deposits – and that’s before we’ve even announced prices or seen the final production car.

“Buyers can now visit any Honda dealership in the UK and place a deposit.”

All-new 2013 Range Rover Sport- available to order now

Order books have now opened for the all-new model, which is due in showrooms in September. The initial range will include; an SE, HSE, HSE Dynamic and Autobiography Dynamic.

The SE will start from £51,500, £1,280 more than the outgoing model.

Prices start from £59,995 for the HSE, an additional £8,495 from the entry level SE.

The HSE Dynamic starts at £64,995 and the Autobiography Dynamic starts from £74,995.

You can also personalise your new Range Rover Sport with options including different interior colour themes, exterior paint options and aluminum finishes.

The all-new Range Rover Sport, which is 420kg lighter than the outgoing model was revealed at the recent New York Motor Show. It will make its UK debut next month at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

E-Type voted greatest British car

Readers of BBC Top Gear Magazine have voted the Jaguar E-Type as the greatest British car. 

The Aston Martin V12 Vantage and DB5 were joint second in the survey.

Editor-in-chief of Top Gear Magazine, Charlie Turner said: “In a land responsible for the creation of some of the world’s most iconic cars, the Jaguar E-Type still stands out.”

At its launch at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show, Jaguar took over 500 orders. 72,007 Jaguar E-types were built in total.

Unique Aston Martin CC100 Concept

Aston Martin has created a one-off sports car as part of its 100 year anniversary celebrations.

The new Speedster concept was unveiled at the infamous ASAC Zurich 24 Hours of Nurburgring race, driven by CEO Dr Ulrich Bez.

Dr Bez said, “the CC100 is the epitome of everything that is great about Aston Martin. It represents our fantastic sporting heritage, our exceptional design capability, our superb engineering know-how and, above all, our adventurous spirit!

“I have nicknamed it ‘DBR100’ because of its affinity to the great 1959 race-winning cars and, of course, our 100-year anniversary in 2013.

“But this car is more, even, than a simple birthday present to ourselves: it shows that the soul of Aston Martin – the thing that differentiates us from all the other car makers – is as powerful as ever.”

Minor Facelift for the 2013 BMW 5 Series Range

The new 5 Series models; 5 Series, 5 Series Touring and 5 Series GT have undergone a subtle refresh.

Tweaks include changes to the engine line-up; making them more efficient and xenon lights as standard for all models.

The range is now on sale and first cars will be arriving in UK showrooms in September.

The 520d SE Saloon starts at £31,530, an increase of £1,100 on the outgoing model.  The 520d SE Touring costs £33,855, an increase of £900 while the Gran Turismo range now starts at £37,605 for a 520d SE and £60,010 for a 550i M Sport.

The new Audi RS5 Cabriolet has made its debut in a live online video and will feature at this month’s Paris Motor Show.

The new model is powered by a 444bhp 4.2 litre V8 engine enabling it to reach 62mph in 4.9 seconds and a limited speed of 155mph (can be optionally upgraded to 174mph).

The motorised roof opens in 15 seconds and can be operated to speeds of up to 31mph. 

First deliveries are expected in Germany early 2013, where the cost will start from £70,154. UK order books open later this year and first deliveries in the UK will be spring 2013.

Audi has unveiled the new RS7 Sportback at the North American International Automobile Show.

UK order books will open this summer with first deliveries arriving towards the end of 2013.

The new model will be priced at approximately £84,000 OTR and powered by a V8 bi-turbo petrol engine will reach 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds.
