Lamborghini release new Huracán Spyder

Lamborghini release new Huracán Spyder

Lamborghini has launched the new Huracán Spyder, the 3rd model to join the Huracán range and the most powerful yet.

Lamborghini describe the Spyder as the ‘Lifestyle’ Huracán, with its eye-catching styling and fold-down top.  The 3-layer fabric roof can be raised or lowered in 17 seconds at speeds up to 31mph.  The aerodynamics of the Spyder have been modified to make this as seamless as possible, and the car’s chassis has also been stiffened.

The four-wheel drive Spyder is powered by the same naturally aspirated 5.2 litre V10, however it boasts a higher power output of 603bhp with 413lb ft or torque, making it even more vocal than the rest of the range.

The drop-top Huracán weighs an extra 120kg, however the performance statistics remain impressive, with 0-62mph covered in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 201mph.  The stylish new supercar is on sale now for £205,000, with first deliveries expected in April.
