Lexus set to launch hybrid LC 500h coupe
Lexus will reveal its new hybrid LC 500h, the latest addition to the LC luxury coupe range, at next month’s Geneva motor show.
Based on the V8-powered, 467bhp LC 500 coupe, which debuted at the Detroit auto show, the hybrid model will use Lexus’s newly developed “Multi Stage Hybrid System”, and will offer “higher performance, more driving pleasure and greater efficiency”.
The LC range is built on an all-new body platform, and the hybrid will feature the same mix of high-strength steel and aluminium, with a lightweight carbonfibre roof available as an option.
Full price, spec and performance details will be released when the LC 500h debuts at Geneva in March.
