New Bentley Flying Spur V8 S
Bentley has revealed the new, more powerful Flying Spur V8 S ahead of the Geneva motor show. The luxury saloon will sit between the V8 and W12 in the range.
The new Flying Spur gets a twin-turbo 4.0-Litre V8, with output boosted to 521bhp and 502lb of torque. There’s an 8-speed ZF gear box, powering all four wheels, with a 40:60 rear-biased torque split. Top speed is an impressive 190mph, with 0-62mph covered in 4.9 seconds.
In ‘S’ mode, the car has a sharper throttle response and extra engine braking, and the enhanced suspension system delivers improved stability control and better handling.
Sporty styling has been added throughout, with a new black radiator grille, dark-tinted headlights and tail-lights,V8 S badging, a rear diffuser, bespoke tread plates and optional black 21-inch Mulliner 6 spoke alloy wheels.
Internally, the cabin features piano black wood veneers, a three-spoke sports steering wheel with shift paddles, and two-tone seats. New technology includes Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity and a touchscreen remote control for the climate and infotainment systems.
The V8 S will debut at Geneva , with first deliveries due this summer. Pricing is yet to be confirmed, but will sit between the £142K standard V8 and the £153K W12 saloon.
